The poem Mackeson Road NW was written by dear friend and mentor Piers Plowright on March 21, 2020, the first day of lockdown in the UK. I sent a first demo and some thoughts on March 23, which Piers liked. Michael immediately recorded his voice on his cell phone. Following, on April 4, Pelagia similarly recorded her piano and vocal tracks, on her cell phone. Theo, meanwhile, recorded his cello renditions at his home studio. Sunday night, April 12, Dimitris sent his drum-tracks, recorded at his home studio. The individual recording processes came together quickly.
